Join our newly opened Rimon Preschool as an Infant/Toddler Teacher, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help nurture the youngest learners during their most formative years. In this role, you will collaborate to create a safe, engaging, and loving environment tailored to infants’ and toddlers' developmental needs. We are a Jewish Preschool and pride ourselves on teaching the children our faith based values. We accept applicants and students of all backgrounds. The classroom is a mixed age room ranging from 6 weeks to 2 & 1/2 years old. We use the Reggio Emilia philosophy of education which is a child led and project based program.
Responsibilities
- Implement daily routines that promote age appropriate physical, emotional, and cognitive development
- Support activities that encourage sensory exploration, language acquisition, and motor skills development
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment aligned with health and safety standards from the Department of Human Services
- Engage with children through play, storytelling, singing, and other nurturing interactions to foster social and emotional growth
- Monitor infants’ well-being closely, including feeding, diapering, and comfort needs while adhering to health protocols
- Collaborate with team members to observe and document each child's progress and developmental milestones
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and promoting respectful interactions among children
- Help to incorporate Jewish traditions, holidays, and values into everyday activities
Requirements
- Prior experience working with young children in settings such as daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting or similar roles
- Must be able to pass a background check and get fingerprinting done
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for infant care
- Certification or training in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and families
- Ability to remain energetic, attentive, patient, and compassionate throughout the day
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies for young children
- Passion for working with children and supporting their early learning journey

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
