The Right Hue Painting is looking for one experienced residential painter who takes pride in their craft.

Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces meticulously by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools for efficient coverage
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately determine project scope and specifications
- Execute various types of painting projects including residential painting, commercial painting, industrial painting, stucco application, and restoration work
- Perform surface repairs such as plastering, drywall patching, masonry touch-ups, and fixture installation to ensure a seamless finish
- Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project requirements and materials needed while adhering to safety standards on construction sites
- Assist with renovation projects involving carpentry (trim carpentry, frame carpentry), masonry, concrete finishing, welding, and remodeling tasks
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the project to maintain high standards of craftsmanship and client satisfaction
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly in compliance with safety protocols
Experience
- 5 years professional painting experience preferred
- Ability to cut clean lines without heavy reliance on tape
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently or with a small crew
- Professional attitude in customer's home a must
- Proven experience in residential and commercial painting with a strong understanding of color theory and finishing techniques
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, and airless paint spraying equipment
- Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and experience working on active construction or renovation sites
- Skilled in plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, restoration work, and fixture installation
- Background in industrial painting or maintenance work is a plus but not required
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise work execution
- Strong handyman experience including drywall repair, masonry work, concrete finishing, welding or other related trades is advantageous
Preferred Skills (Not required)
- Cabinet painting / fine finish work
- Paint spraying experience
- Ability to lead or supervise a small crew
Pay
- $22-$35 per hour depending on experience
- We pay top rates for painters who produce top-quality work
Schedule
Full-time
