Build high‑precision window and door assemblies

If you love hands-on work and seeing a flawless bond come together, this role is for you. You’ll transform parts into finished assemblies using meticulous surface prep, exact adhesive mixing, and careful alignment.

Your Impact
  • Review work orders, production schedules, drawings, and assembly instructions before each build.
  • Collect and stage all window and door components needed for lay-up and bonding.
  • Clean and prepare surfaces; then measure, mix, and apply approved adhesives per manufacturer and production specs.
  • Align components precisely and secure them with clamps, presses, rollers, fixtures, and hand tools during curing.
  • Remove excess adhesive or sealant to ensure a clean final appearance.
  • Verify dimensions, alignment, fit, and overall workmanship at every step.
  • Inspect finished parts for gaps, weak bonds, misalignment, surface damage, or other defects; report any damaged, incorrect, or defective materials.
  • Follow established curing times, material-handling procedures, and production requirements.
  • Label, stage, and move completed assemblies to the next area; complete production records, work orders, and quality documentation accurately.
  • Meet daily production and quality targets while upholding safety.
  • Keep the workspace clean, organized, and hazard-free; follow all safety procedures for adhesives, solvents, and manufacturing materials; wear required PPE.
  • Perform additional production or assembly work as assigned.
What You’ll Need
  • Experience in manufacturing, assembly, construction, cabinetmaking, woodworking, glass, window, or door production (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with adhesives, sealants, caulking, or bonding materials (preferred).
  • Ability to read a tape measure; strong basic math and measurement accuracy.
  • Comfort following written and verbal instructions.
  • Detail orientation and commitment to quality; ability to recognize damaged materials and assembly defects.
  • Safe, confident use of hand tools, clamps, rollers, presses, and production equipment.
  • Works well independently and within a production team.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Flexibility to work overtime or alternate shifts when required.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Know-how in surface preparation and adhesive application.
  • Familiarity with window and door components (a plus).
  • Ability to identify different materials, parts, and production specifications.
  • Strong hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Accuracy and consistency in repetitive tasks.
  • Clear communication and solid teamwork.
Physical Demands
  • Stand and walk for most of the shift.
  • Regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Bend, reach, twist, kneel; perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
  • Handle large or awkward components with assistance.
  • Work around adhesives, sealants, equipment, dust, and typical production noise.
  • Wear required PPE such as gloves, safety glasses, and respiratory protection when applicable.
