Structural Assembly Technician -- Adhesives, Sealants & Bonding

The Right Hire
Tucson, AZ Other
POSTED ON 9/2/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 10/2/2026
Do you take pride in perfect fits and rock‑solid bonds?

Imagine starting your shift by opening a new work order. You walk through the drawings, line up each window and door component, and prep every surface so the adhesive has the ideal foundation. You measure, mix, and apply approved adhesives exactly to spec, align parts with care, and lock them in place using clamps, presses, rollers, fixtures, and hand tools. Excess sealant is removed for a clean finish. At each checkpoint, you confirm dimensions, alignment, fit, and workmanship—then inspect the finished piece for gaps, weak bonds, misalignment, surface damage, or any defect. If materials are damaged or incorrect, you flag them for your supervisor right away. You follow curing times and handling procedures, document your work accurately, label and stage the assembly for the next area, and consistently meet daily production and quality goals while keeping safety first. You maintain an orderly, hazard-free area, follow all safety procedures for adhesives, solvents, and manufacturing materials, wear required PPE, and jump in on additional production or assembly tasks as needed.
