The Ridge Behavioral Health System is a 110-bed hospital located in the heart of the Bluegrass, Lexington, KY. The Ridge provides psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. The Ridge offers Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient Programs, Individual Counseling, as well as Medication Management for all ages. We have provided behavioral health services to over 92 Kentucky counties for more than 39 years.
The Outpatient Coordinator provides clerical support to the Outpatient Services. The position is responsible for tracking and setting up patients into programs, registering patients, collecting payments, uploading paperwork into facility systems, and providing it to appropriate departments. Follows and abides by company policies, procedures, and Corporate Compliance Program, as applicable to role and responsibilities.
Job Duties Include:
- Prepares new admission charts, files patient information accurately, and maintains chart order.
- Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of outpatient schedule and operations; communicates this information to our patients and visitors.
- Communicate with all departments to ensure proper admission of step downs and new admits.

- Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
Experience
- Previous office experience preferred
Certifications

CPR – training provided upon hire
- Crisis Intervention - training provided upon hire
Other Skills
- Requires knowledge of general office and phone skills
- Excellent organization, written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have legible handwriting.
- The ability to handle confidential information and to maintain a pleasant and congenial attitude at all times.
