Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Montgomery, AL. This is a full-time, on-site role. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing equipment maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring timely repairs. The role involves working on a variety of industrial and facility-related maintenance tasks to ensure the seamless operation of our facilities and equipment.At Renaissance Properties, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and potential issues.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical systems, including logic controllers.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical components.
- Fabricate parts as needed to ensure efficient operation of equipment.
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in using tools such as welders and ohmmeters.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics in English.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Previous supervisory experience is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing environments.
