In this role, you'll be the trusted advisor to our commercial clients, ensuring seamless operations and providing exceptional service. You’ll work closely with clients, carriers, and internal teams to foster long-term relationships and drive business growth.
This position offers flexibility with the option to work remotely. However, we value in-person collaboration and require some onsite participation for training, team building, and strategic meetings. (QUALIFIED CANDIDATES MUST BE RESIDENTS OF VT, NH, MA, OR NY. )
What You Bring
The Account Manager works independently and or collaboratively to manage overall client service and administration throughout the issuance and renewal cycle. This position is a client facing role utilizing professional skills in Commercial Property and Casualty insurance to maintain and enhance client relationships while also insuring client profitability.
The Senior Account Manager applies their in-depth Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance knowledge and experience to manage a complex book of business. The Sr. Account Manager is performing at a higher level regarding customer service and retention. They play a critical role in aiding the department in achieving their goals and objectives.

\n- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Active Property & Casualty license.
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial insurance required, with a proven track record of consistently performing at a high level.
- Exceptional independent judgment and decision-making skills to ensure sound, effective solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and persuasively communicate with clients, carriers, and team members.
- Strong networking and negotiation skills, with a natural ability to build rapport and influence decisions.
- Skilled in conflict resolution, able to address and resolve issues swiftly and professionally.
- Possess a deep understanding of carrier appetites and the market climate, ensuring accurate carrier placement.
- Ability to independently analyze coverage needs and contracts, providing comprehensive, tailored solutions.
- Demonstrate emerging leadership skills in delegating tasks, collaborating, and mentoring within the team.
- Achieved or actively pursuing professional designations such as CIC, CPSU, ACSR, or AAI.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Active Property and Casualty license.
- Maintain CE credits and pursue additional education to enhance expertise.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role for consideration.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through, with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a desire to cultivate positive relationships and deliver exceptional service.
- Receive, document, and process all insured's service requests, coordinating with insurance carriers or brokers as needed.
- Ensure policy accuracy and attention to detail in all client accounts.
- Oversee agency billing, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and coordinate payment with producer partners.
- Manage certificate requests and maintain efficient processes.
- Review and manage the expiration list, ensuring follow-through on the renewal cycle.
- Identify coverage recommendations for clients, working to enhance their policies.
- Coordinate communication among client contacts, producers, and carriers, ensuring clarity and efficiency.
- Perform research and analysis related to account underwriting and service.
- Work closely with producers on the underwriting of new and renewal business.
- Prepare client proposals for both new and renewal business as required.
- Ensure thorough documentation and maintenance of client records within our Agency Management System, reducing E&O risk.
- Manage workflow effectively to maintain current status on all activities and emails.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, carriers, and TRG team members.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
