What You'll Do
- Receive, log, and triage all complaints, including sensitive reports of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation.
- Lead fair and neutral preliminary interviews to collect key information without offering legal advice.
- Route each matter to the appropriate internal department (e.g., Payroll, Benefits) or escalate to Employment Counsel as needed.
- Maintain a detailed and centralized intake log, provide timely follow-ups, and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Assist in developing and refining standardized investigation workflows, templates, and intake forms.
- Help coordinate litigation holds and track ongoing investigations or matters.
- Serve as a confidential liaison between the legal department and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear, discreet, and professional communication every step of the way.
- Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Public Administration, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in legal intake, case management, or HR investigations.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities with a talent for handling sensitive topics with discretion.
- Familiarity with case management systems or legal intake tools is preferred.
- Able to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain meticulous records.
