Role Overview

As a Life Insurance Agent with The Revision Standard, you’ll be trained, supported, and developed to help individuals and families protect what matters most — while also growing yourself in the process.

This role is ideal for someone looking for more than just a job. It’s for someone ready to learn, take responsibility, and build consistency in both their personal and professional life.

No prior insurance experience or license is required to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Sales & Marketing: Actively attract new clients through our proprietary training, networking, referrals, and outreach (note: we do not buy leads and we do not cold call). Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new business.
  • Client Consultation: Meet with clients to assess their insurance needs and provide recommendations on coverage options.
  • Policy Management: Prepare and present insurance proposals, explain policy features, and assist clients with policy selection.
  • Customer Service: Provide ongoing support to clients, including assistance with claims, policy changes, and renewals.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and policy documentation.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and regulations to enhance your knowledge and effectiveness. A valid insurance license is required or must be obtained within a specified timeframe after hiring. A proactive attitude towards learning and professional development in the insurance field.

Licensing & Training Information

  • No license required prior to applying
  • A one-time $200 investment for training, support, and carrier access (if unlicensed, an additional $250 licensing fee applies, with full guidance provided).
  • Pre-licensing training materials: Provided
  • Exam preparation and guidance: Provided
  • State licensing exam: Required to begin selling
  • Background check: Required for licensing and carrier appointment
