Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Financial Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial concepts and be able to provide comprehensive financial planning services to our clients. This role requires expertise in areas such as estate planning, tax strategies, investment management, and portfolio management. As a Financial Planner, you will play a crucial role in helping clients achieve their financial goals through tailored strategies and sound advice.
This role will be in Mt Vernon, WA and go through 60-90 training in Redmond, WA or Mill Creek, WA. Temp housing available. Relocation to Mt Vernon available.
Paid a salary of 85k for training and then draw until full commission. Estimated earning potential $500k
Responsibilities
- Develop personalized financial plans based on clients' individual goals and needs till age 100.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' financial situations, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
- Provide guidance on estate planning, ensuring clients understand the implications of their decisions.
- Advise clients on tax strategies to optimize their financial outcomes.
- Manage investment portfolios by analyzing market trends and making informed recommendations.
- Utilize financial software to create detailed reports and projections for clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and follow-up.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in financial planning.
- Collaborate with other professionals such as accountants or attorneys to provide comprehensive services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial planning or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of estate planning, tax regulations, investment management, and portfolio management.
- Familiarity with financial software tools for analysis and reporting.
- Excellent sales skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Professional certification Series 65 or 66 and Life and Health. CFP is a plus but not required.
- No cold calling
