Our client, an office furniture and design company, is looking for an Operations and Logistics Coordinator to manage the flow of inventory from sales origination to client delivery. They are looking for someone with good time management skills, communication, organization and who is highly detail oriented. You will be involved in all aspects of the daily operations of the business. Must be proficient in excel. This role reports directly to the President.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Serves as the direct contact to third-party installation companies and inside install delivery team.
• Communicate with customers to schedule deliveries and service calls based on tracking of PO’s and furniture ETA’s. Build trust and confidence, resolve issues, and enhance their overall customer service experience.
• Monitor progress during the day to ensure all timelines and customer expectations have been met.
•Daily management of accounts receivable. Communicate with clients on all payments and payment status.
•Quality control of all invoices, PO’s, and merchandise receivables. Follow up as necessary with team members and vendors for accuracy.
•Maintain positive working relationships with all vendors, installation team/third party installers and design team.
•In cooperation with outside computer consulting company, implement the regular maintenance and updating of all PC’s and phone systems.
• Act as showroom expert and resource for all internal systems and platforms providing support and coaching as needed.
• Oversee the overall operations in the showroom including replenishment of all supplies. • Think creatively to suggest new ways of enhancing our customer experience and streamlining our processes.
•Welcome all customers, qualify their needs and introduce to the sales team. Sell as needed.
Salary : $60,000 - $85,000
