Position OverviewWe are hiring an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to support daily operations in a fast-paced Quick Service Restaurant environment. The Assistant Manager plays a key role in ensuring smooth store operations, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting team development while maintaining brand standards, food safety, and profitability.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & LeadershipAssist the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations.Lead shifts effectively, ensuring proper staffing, productivity, and service execution.Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and health regulations.Open and close the restaurant as needed, including cash handling and deposit procedures.Team ManagementSupervise, train, and motivate hourly team members.Support onboarding and ongoing training of new hires.Provide coaching and feedback to improve performance and morale.Assist with scheduling to meet business needs while controlling labor costs.Guest ExperienceDeliver outstanding customer service and promptly resolve guest concerns.Ensure food quality, speed of service, and cleanliness standards are consistently met.Lead by example to create a welcoming and positive environment for guests and staff.Inventory & Cost ControlAssist with inventory management, ordering, and receiving.Help control food and labor costs to meet store targets.Monitor waste and follow proper portion control procedures.QualificationsRequired1–3 years of experience in a QSR or fast-paced restaurant environment.Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.Strong communication and customer service skills.Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as required in a restaurant setting.PreferredExperience with POS systems and basic cash management.Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe a plus).What We OfferCompetitive hourly pay: $19–$21/hourGrowth and advancement opportunitiesPaid trainingSupportive and team-oriented work environmentEmployee meal discounts and additional benefits (where applicable)Company DescriptionRestaurantZone is one of the fastest-growing national recruiting agencies in the hospitality/restaurant space.
