We are a growing, family-owned business with a passion for great food and community. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our restaurant operations and join our close-knit team. This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated professional to take ownership of the business, drive profitability, and shape the customer's experience.

The Role:

As General Manager, you will be the key to our restaurant's success. We are looking for a hands-on leader who can manage all aspects of the business, from the front-of-house to the back-office and always puts the customer experience as the first priority. This is not a role for someone who wants to simply "run the floor." We need a strategic thinker who can analyze our operations, improve our financial performance, and lead our team to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Oversee all financial aspects, including budgeting, inventory, and cost control.
  • Operations: Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and high standards of quality.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor our front-of-house staff. Foster a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Scheduling: Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and labor cost efficiency.
  • Strategic Planning: Work directly with the owners to develop and implement strategies to increase profitability and improve overall business performance.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or a similar leadership role in a restaurant or bar setting.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant financials, including P&L statements, budgeting, and cost management.
  • A "customer first" mentality and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement in the customer experience.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for the food and beverage industry.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $80,000, based on your experience.
  • Two weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO) to start.
  • 401(k) retirement plan eligibility.

Note: We are conducting a confidential search to find the right long-term fit for our team. We welcome candidates from outside the immediate Manitowoc area, as we believe the right experience is worth the commute/relocation.
