Housekeepers possess a passion for hospitality and have an extreme attention to detail, and uncompromising principles of customer service. We are a small boutique property and job flexibility is required.
Job Description
- Check in with Housekeeping sheet prepared by manager regarding check-in, check-out and stay-over services
- Communicate with Front Desk for specific tasks and assignments for the day
- Clean and arrange guest rooms to hotel standards for guest arrival
- Clean and maintain common areas of the hotel
- Stock and maintain housekeeping supply rooms
- Ensure a high level of customer service is performed at all times
- Assist guests with requests and questions as necessary
- Report any damages or repairs needed to management
- Report all lost and found items
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
- Sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding linen items
- Removing stains from items using the appropriate procedures
- Ensuring that the facility remains clean at all times
- Load all laundry into washer and add specified cleaning agents
- Sort and fold or hang clean dried items
- Perform additional laundry services when necessary
- Present self in accordance with overall dress-code guidelines
Job Requirements
- Hard working & detail oriented with a no task too small attitude
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods
- Knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials
- Working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment
- Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend
- Ability to lift, push and pull required load (usually about 30lbs)
