Duties
- Operate various commercial trucks including mini excavators to transport waste materials safely and efficiently
- Pump septic tanks by connecting hoses and using specialized equipment to remove waste and sludge from residential or commercial systems
- Load and unload equipment and waste containers using manual lifting techniques or truck-mounted mechanisms
- Conduct routine inspections of trucks and pumping equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, waste disposal logs, and safety checks for each job site
- Drive confidently across different terrains while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations utillizing non cdl trucks
- Assist with general truck maintenance tasks such as mechanical checks or minor repairs when necessary
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain pumping equipment and trucks
- Experience operating mini excavators and jetters
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during loading/unloading processes
- Knowledge of septic system components and maintenance procedures is a plus
- Excellent load & unload skills with attention to safety protocols
- Knowledge of utility locating methods and electrical experience related to construction site work
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to high voltage and low voltage electrical systems
