The Resource Center has been providing services to persons with disabilities in the Chautauqua County area since 1958. From our humble beginnings as a gathering of parents and concerned citizens who wanted to provide educational and training opportunities for persons with developmental and intellectual disabilities, The Resource Center has grown into a comprehensive agency providing services to thousands of persons with all types and levels of disabilities.
The Resource Center is the largest non-governmental employer in Chautauqua County with more than 1,300 employees on its payroll.

I-86 rest area Job Description -Sweep -Mop -Run scrubber -Inside and outside trash -Grounds check for litter -Clean Restrooms -Lobby upkeep - Empty cigarette receptacles - Order and carry in supplies -Record duties on check sheets -Must be dependable and on time -Must be able to lift and carry supplies, including but not limited to a five gallon mop bucket -Keep porch and walkways clean During winter months, help snow remover: • Operate Snow Blowers • Shovel or use push broom for light snow • Apply Ice Melt to ice or after snow removal. • Clean & service snow removal equipment • Record duties and time on check sheets • Must be able to lift and carry supplies, including but not limited to a 5 gallon mop bucket • Expected to be able to lift and carry 25 lbs - Sweep walkways to remove excess ice melt & debris if snow or ice is not forecasted • Clean snow or ice around tables & benches • Check for and remove debris on the premises • Wash all walls in restrooms • Clean vents • Keep garage floor clean and free of debris at all times • Scrub baseboards • Police/ Remove snow in area around salt, fuel, storage area, dumpster • Any other duties as assigned by supervisors or DOT Staff Subject drug screening. Driver’s license is a plus. Excellent attendance is needed. Desire and ability to work outside in harsh weather is required. Position needed mid-November – March 31st. Hours: 37.5 hours per week Days: Rotating 5 day schedule Pay Rate: $16.95 w/o benefits and $14.77 w/ benefits Location: I-86 rest area
