Fast Food Team Member

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Service Team Member to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing food items, operating POS systems, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for the food industry and a desire to develop their skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting. Prior experience in food service, retail, or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure your success.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and transactions
• Handle cash and credit card payments accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Provide friendly and attentive customer service, assisting guests with menu selections and inquiries
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces following food safety guidelines
• Assist with food safety practices including proper food handling, sanitation, and bussing tables as needed
• Support team members during peak hours by managing multiple tasks efficiently
• Ensure quick service delivery in a fast-food or quick-service restaurant environment

Experience

• Previous experience in food service, café, or restaurant environment preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety standards
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently during busy periods
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail in food handling and sanitation procedures

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $21.43 - $25.81 per hour
