What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at The Resort at Longboat Key Club?
We are looking to add Bartenders to our team. Looking for Banquet Bartender and Bartenders for our restaurants. See below for details and to apply for the position. Competitive Wages: Pooled service charge on all orders.
Essential Functions:
- Mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks
- Follow proper cash handling procedures
- Complete orders for beverages and supplies
- Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive display
- Maintain a clean and neat work area
- Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks
- Wash bar glasses/dishes
- Checks ID for all guests and complies with state and federal laws
- Demonstrates effective sales techniques to upsell food and beverage products
- Responds to questions and special requests
- Provides information and directions
- Other reasonable duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required
- Hospitality or related industry experience
- Previous experience in high-volume, fine dining bar-tending or banquet bar-tending
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for 8-10 hour shifts
- Pulling, pushing, carrying boxes up to 25lbs
