Dishwasher (Part-time)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our dynamic kitchen team. This will be a part-time schedule w flexible hours and weekends needed. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to supporting our dining team in delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently.
• Sort and stack clean dishes in designated areas for easy access by kitchen staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors and countertops.
• Support bussing duties by clearing tables and disposing of waste as required.
• Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation.
• Collaborate with dining team to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a culinary or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
