What You’ll Get to Do
- Support the Tax Advisory Team in preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns for wealth clients – without the LONG HOURS common in a public accounting setting
- Assist with tax planning strategies aligned with clients’ long-term financial and wealth goals
- Stay current on federal and state tax law changes and emerging planning opportunities
- Help prepare client reviews by anticipating tax needs and identifying optimization strategies
- Partner with team on tax-efficient investment, retirement, and estate planning strategies
- Maintain compliance with tax regulations, firm standards, and ethical best practices
- Collaborate with executive leadership and advisory teams to support the firm’s broader vision
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2 years of experience in a tax-focused role
- CPA, CPA candidate, or Enrolled Agent (EA) required
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws and compliance standards
- Proficiency with tax software (Drake preferred), Excel, and financial planning tools
- Clear communicator with strong analytical skills and a client-first mindset
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, results-oriented, team-based environment
- Ability to pass a background check
