Shift: 6am-2pm 2-3 days per week

Job Summary
- Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for residents, visitors, and team members
- Ensures the community is kept clean and odor-free, including resident rooms/apartments and common areas
- Provides housekeeping and laundry services for residents as assigned
- Stocks and maintains housekeeping carts/closets and ensures supplies are used and stored safely
- Reports broken equipment, maintenance needs, unsafe conditions, and resident feedback to the direct supervisor promptly
- Cleans assigned areas according to schedule and as requested, including (as applicable): dusting, vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, bathrooms, trash removal, and linen changes
- Follows infection control, safety, and chemical handling procedures (including PPE requirements as applicable)
- Performs additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred (senior living/hospitality a plus)
- Ability to use required equipment and tools, including vacuums, mops, brooms, dustpans, and cleaning chemicals/supplies safely
- Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions
- High School Diploma or GED preferred

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and repetitive hand/arm motions
- Ability to push/pull housekeeping carts and move supplies throughout the community
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items such as linens, trash, cleaning supplies, and small equipment (typically up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally, with or without assistance)
- Ability to safely work around cleaning chemicals, odors, dust, and wet/slippery surfaces while following safety procedures and PPE requirements Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (e.g., warm/humid laundry areas) Visual and auditory ability sufficient to perform cleaning tasks safely, read labels/instructions, and respond to directions or calls for assistance (with or without accommodation)
