Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):
Ph.D. (or foreign equivalent) in Psychology or a related field in hand by July 2021.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D. (or foreign equivalent) in Clinical Psychology in hand by July 2021. Expertise and strong interest in developmental or internalizing psychopathology. At least one first-authored publication in the area of clinical neuroscience. Advanced statistical training. Training and experience in conducting diagnostic interviews. Training and experience in assessing stressful life events. Knowledge of and experience with EEG/Event Related Potentials.
Brief Description of Duties:
POST-DOC in developmental psychopathology. Collaborate on NIMH-funded longitudinal studies examining childhood and early adolescent antecedents and pathways to the development of depression and anxiety in older adolescents and young adults (PI: Daniel Klein). The incumbent should also possess excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
Analyze data and write papers and grant proposals.
Conducts and/or supervise diagnostic and life stress interviews.
Assist and collaborate with graduate and undergraduate students on data analysis and writing papers.
Database management.
Other duties or projects as assigned as appropriate to rank and departmental mission.

The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation. Employment is subject to the Research Foundation policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines and the availability of funding. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Minimum salary threshold must be met to maintain FLSA exemption. Anticipated starting date Spring/Summer 2021, but this is negotiable.
