What are the responsibilities and job description for the Broadmoor School ESCWR - Substitute Aide position at The Renhill Group?
Renhill Group is currently looking for caring, compassionate individuals to work on a substitute (part-time, on-call) basis as an Educational Aide/Student Assistant at the Broadmoor School of the ESC of Western Reserve in Mentor, Ohio for the 2024-2025 school year.
Broadmoor School is the educational program for the Lake County Board of Developmental Disabilities/Deepwood and provides four programs for students from birth through age 22 years who have developmental disabilities and are residents of Lake County.
An Educational Aide/Student Assistant provides instructional, physical, and social emotional assistance in a caring and nurturing environment to meet the unique needs of students with Individual Education Plans.
No formal experience? No problem. Renhill Group's online training courses designed by current and former school district administrators will give you the knowledge and confidence you need to ensure your success in the classroom.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BCI & FBI background checks
- Completed within the past 12 months and on file with the Ohio Department of Education
- Renhill Group offers background checks at one of the area’s lowest rates ($55), if you do not already have them
- Aide permit issued by the Ohio Department of Education
- Renhill Group will assist you in obtaining your permit if needed. Permit costs $25 and payment is made directly to the Ohio Department of Education
