Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises using CCTV systems and physical inspections to deter unauthorized access and prevent theft or vandalism
- Monitor surveillance equipment (CCTV) to identify suspicious activity and respond promptly to security breaches
- Manage access control by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies or conflicts using conflict management techniques and first aid skills when necessary
- Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional presence at all times
- Document incidents accurately through detailed reports and logs for future reference and investigations
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents or investigations as needed
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles is highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies
- Certification in first aid and CPR is advantageous; willingness to obtain if not already certified
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Familiarity with security protocols, access control procedures, and emergency response planning
- Experience working with law enforcement agencies or emergency services is a plus
