Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
- Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, ideally with upscale dining or hospitality backgrounds
- Strong knowledge of POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle guest relations professionally
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is advantageous but not required; a passion for food industry trends is valued
- Commitment to food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
