TMS Technician

Job Summary:

The TMS Technician is responsible for administering treatment to patients using Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) as well as working as a nurse aide, helping facilitate all clinical operations. The TMS technicians interact with our patients on a daily basis and strive to provide the best care possible.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintains the TMS machine with the highest degree of patient safety.
• Provide feedback and assists in observation, planning, and evaluation of patients, and response to treatment.
• Work closely with the psychiatry staff to ensure proper calibration and treatment delivery.
• Assist providers in Mapping and ReMT sessions.
• Support administrative functions of the clinic communicating specific and sensitive information to appropriate parties.
• Review admission documents/information to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct weekly inventory counts and supply ordering for upcoming appointments.
• Provide support for other administrative and or clinic staff as required.
• Follow company policies and procedures as well as adhering to state and/or federal regulations.
• Rooms and provides clinical assistant support during down time.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

• Associates degree or higher preferred.
• A minimum of one year of TMS Technician or related experience preferred.
• An equivalent combination of experience, education, and training that would provide the required knowledge and abilities.
• Knowledge of general medical terminology, and medical insurance protocols. Knowledge of medical office

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
