What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activities Assistant-Per Diem position at The Rehab Center at Bristol?
The Rehab Center and Memory Care at Bristol is looking to add an Activities Assistant who loves and has a passion for activities to join our team. This person will assist residents with group and individual activities, outings and events. Must enjoy having fun with residents!
The ideal person for this position has the experience and compassion.
Responsibilities:
- Support daily activities – Ensure residents' safety and well-being are met by facilitating social interactions and therapeutic conversations. Will work with our Director to assist residents in meaningful activities, events and outings.
- Apply compliance knowledge – Demonstrate knowledge of all aspects of resident care by using a sensitive approach. Knowledge and compliance of all state and federal regulations and resident rights is required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
- CNA license is a plus and could increase base rate.
