What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Teacher for Before and Afterschool Program position at The Regional YMCA Of Western Connecticut?
General Function: Nurturing, Motivated, Professional who is responsible for the care, education, health and well being of a group of school age children. Assists the head teacher with the planning, implementation and evaluation of daily activities in accordance with the policies, procedures and philosophies of the YMCA Children's Center, CT State Licensing Regulations and CT Best Practice Guidelines for School Age Children, maintains high level of communication and support to staff, families and director, participates in YMCA events, maintains a professional, positive attitude, keeps current on YMCA and State Of CT professional requirements. Hours are 7:30-12:30 and 3 p.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Perfect for college students!
