Job Description
This position will work directly with clients in home, community, and center providing services to build confidence and independence based on an individualized plan. You are required to transport clients. Good communication skills and patience are a must.

Requirements for Position:

• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License Required (Class D – Regular: Auto, Light Truck, Moped)
• All applicants must be 18 years of age or older
• Pre-employment drug screening required
• Background check required
• Flexibility/adaptability of hours and duties is required for all applicants

Qualifications: All applicants must have a clean driving record, plus proof of auto insurance. Must be able to perform all physical requirements of the job including: lifting up to 40 pounds.

Duties and Responsibilities of Position:

• Assess clients' wants and needs
• Notice clients' strengths and instruct them how to make the best out of their strengths
• Provide assistance and guidance to clients who need help with their everyday work activities or some new tasks
• Transport clients within the community.
• Assist clients with learning basic living skills and offer physical assistance as needed.
