The Role

In this role, you will:
Provide evidence-based nursing care to pediatric patients with varying levels of acuity
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, identifying subtle changes and intervening appropriately
Collaborate with physicians, APPs, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans
Educate and support families, helping them navigate complex diagnoses and care transitions
Contribute to a culture of safety, quality improvement, and accountability
Engage in unit-based initiatives that elevate patient care and team effectiveness

Minimum Qualifications-
Education:Graduate of an accredited nursing programrequired. Bachelor of Science inNursingrequiredwithin 5 years of hire.
Experience:1 year of relevant experience.
Licensure/Certifications:Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certificationrequired.
Physical Demands-Job requires standing for prolonged periods,frequentlytraveling, bending/stooping. Proficientcommunicative,auditoryand visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/bodyfluidsand infectious disease.
Compensation-

The pay range for this role is $39.90 - $53.00 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.Benefits
