- Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Implement therapeutic interventions including exercise, manual therapy, functional training, and modalities
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize outcomes
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury prevention
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
- Document patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
- Maintain compliance with all departmental, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education opportunities
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program required
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred
- Current Virginia Physical Therapist License (or eligible to obtain) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Prior clinical experience in physical therapy preferred
- New graduates encouraged to apply
