The Role
As a Cardiac Sonographer in the Echocardiography Lab, you willoperateat the intersection of advanced imaging technology and patient-centered care. This is a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment where precision, collaboration, and adaptability are essential.
On a typical day, you will:
Performcomprehensive echocardiographic studies, including transthoracic and stress imaging, producing diagnosticallyaccurateresults
Collaborate closely withcardiologists, fellows, and interdisciplinary care teamsto support clinical decision-making
Ensureimage quality optimization and protocol adherence,maintainingthe highest standards of diagnostic excellence
Interact directly with patients, providingclear communication and compassionate careduring procedures
Contribute to a lab environment that supportsquality assurance, accreditation standards, and continuous improvement initiatives

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Must meet the education requirement for diagnostic medical ultrasound or echocardiography ultrasound certification with either CCI or ARDMS; Associate's degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required.License/Certification: Registered Vascular Technologist certification required within 12 months of hire. ARDMS or ARRT (S) certification required. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping, reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive); Repetitive motion: (computer keyboard). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50 - 100lbs. May be exposed to cold, dust, noise, radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
The pay range for this role is $36.13 - $51.17 hourly.
