TheDepartment of Anesthesiologyat the University of Virginia School of Medicine seeks applications for a full-time position of Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology.
Responsibilities
Teach Anesthesiology courses to fellows, residents, and medical students
Provide clinical care and medical supervision of residents and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs).
Conduct Research
Additional duties as assigned.

Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.

Minimum Requirements
Education: Medical Doctorate or equivalent degree; completion of an Anesthesiology Residency Program.
Licensure: A valid medical license; American Board of Anesthesiology Certified or certification eligible.
Physical Demands
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. This role does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings and/or programs.
