What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accreditation and Regulatory Specialist position at The Rector & Visitors of the University of Virginia?
- Coordinates activities designed to maintain on-going compliance with all accreditation standards, state licensing requirements, and CMS Conditions of Participation
- Coordinates organizational response to survey and inspection activity and assists with corrective action planning
- Participates in educational programs and offerings that support efforts toward compliance with accreditation and licensing standards.
- Provides leadership and expertise regarding accreditation, regulatory, and licensing requirements
- Actively promotes, improves processes and educates team members to accreditation standards and licensing requirements.
- Maintains accreditation application and related licensing information in coordination with external agency requirements
- Acts as a liaison to population program disease specific program certifications and designations to external agencies and the organization
- In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's degree. 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience: Four years of relevant experience.
Licensure: Subject matter licensure may be required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
The pay range for this role is $74,900.80 - $125,382.00 annually. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.Benefits
