Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality.
- Monitor coating thickness and finish quality.
- Load and unload curing ovens.
- Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies.
- Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using hand tools or airless spray as needed.
- Perform carpentry tasks such as trim carpentry, framing, drywall installation, and caulking to support project completion.
- Use power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently for tasks including plastering, masonry work, concrete finishing, and fixture installation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Manufacturing or powder coating experience preferred
- Ability to operate hand tools and coating equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Ability to follow written instructions and safety guidelines
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and interpret project plans accurately.
