Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, friendly, and wellness-minded Front Desk & Recovery Experience Coordinator to be the welcoming face of The Recovery Bar. This vital role supports daily studio operations, ensures a smooth client flow, and delivers exceptional service in a recovery-focused environment centered on mobility, performance, and wellness.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and personable, with strong communication skills and a passion for helping people feel better, move better, and recover faster. This paid position offers an opportunity to grow within a fast-paced, client-focused recovery studio.
Duties
- Greet clients warmly and create a welcoming, professional, and calming studio environment
- Manage scheduling, check-ins, and client flow using our booking system
- Answer phones, texts, and client inquiries promptly with excellent communication and professionalism
- Educate clients on services, memberships, and recovery options (assisted stretching, sauna, cold plunge, compression, red light, cryotherapy, etc.)
- Maintain accurate client records, waivers, and service documentation
- Support daily studio operations including laundry, towel rotation, sanitation checks, and restocking supplies
- Monitor studio cleanliness and assist in maintaining a safe, organized environment
- Assist with retail and membership transactions, including POS and basic financial tracking
- Support team coordination and communicate effectively with stretch therapists and staff
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure every client has a positive experience
Requirements
- Previous receptionist, front desk, hospitality, wellness, fitness, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable learning scheduling/POS software and basic computer systems
- Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in data entry and client documentation
- Reliable, professional, and proactive with a positive attitude
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and uphold studio sanitation standards
- Interest in health, wellness, fitness, recovery, or performance-based environments strongly preferred
- Experience in wellness, medical, chiropractic, spa, fitness, or recovery settings is a plus but not required
- CPR/AED Certification

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
