We are seeking a versatile, reliable, and proactive individual to join our multimedia studio team as a Winter/Spring Studio Assistant. This role is designed for driven individuals who are eager to build real-world experience across audio, video, lighting, and live production environments.
The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative setting while supporting both creative and operational functions of the studio.
Position Type: Unpaid Internship (Paid in “Studio Credits”)
Program Dates: December 30, 2025 – May 1, 2026
Applicants must be able to commit to the full program duration.
Applicants may specialize in one or more of the following:
- Audio Production/Post-Production
- Video Production/Post-Production
- Lighting Design
- Production Management & Studio Operations
- Business Development
- Social Media Management & Curation
- Assist with audio setup for recording sessions, live productions, and events
- Set up microphones, stands, cabling, and signal flow under engineer direction
- Support sound checks and basic gain staging to ensure clean, consistent audio
- Help maintain audio equipment, including cable organization and gear storage
- Assist with basic editing, cleanup, and session file organization when needed
- Observe and support live audio routing and playback during productions
- Set up and operate cameras, switchers, microphones, and lighting systems
- Run video switchboards during live events, broadcasts, and high-pressure productions
- Execute real-time switching between video sources to create dynamic audience experiences
- Editing post-session videos for social media and sponsorship visuals
- Assist in designing and executing lighting environments for stage and event productions
- Actively adapt lighting in real time during live sessions
- Support the planning and execution of studio sessions, live productions, and events
- Assist with scheduling, run-of-show preparation, and production timelines
- Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair status using digital systems
- Coordinate room transitions, stage setups, and space resets between sessions and events
- Maintain the daily cleanliness, organization, and presentation of all studio spaces
- Perform routine facility upkeep, including cleaning, restocking, and preparing rooms for sessions
- Support real-time troubleshooting during live productions and studio operations
- Support the operational flow of sessions, events, and client experiences
- Assist with administrative workflows tied to production execution
- Assist with research, proposals, and basic reporting for studio growth initiatives
- Track session data, bookings, and operational metrics
- Assist with the planning, creation, and scheduling of social media content
- Capture behind-the-scenes photos and videos during sessions and events
- Support real-time posting and story updates during live productions
- Help maintain a consistent visual and brand aesthetic across platforms
- Monitor engagement, comments, and messages, and flag key interactions for the team
- Support basic editing of video and photo assets for digital use
