What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist | Vienna, VA | School & Clinic-Based (12–15 hrs/week) position at The Reading and Language Learning Center?
The Reading & Language Learning Center is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support a growing caseload across school and clinic settings in the Vienna area. This role begins at approximately 12–15 hours per week, with the majority of hours at a local autism school, and additional clinic and private school services.
This position requires travel between locations and is ideal for a clinician who enjoys working with neurodivergent students in varied environments.
- 12–15 total hours per week
- 8–10 hours at an Autism School Site, typically within the 10:00 AM–1:00 PM window
- Remaining hours Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons (2:30–6:00 PM) in our clinic and/or nearby private schools
- In-person role
- Driving between locations required
- W-2 employment
- $50–$65/hour based on experience
- Opportunity for caseload growth over time
This role begins at approximately 12–15 hours per week, with opportunity to expand hours as our Vienna-area caseload continues to grow. Clinicians who are interested in increasing their schedule may have the opportunity to add additional clinic, private school, or literacy-based cases over time.
We are seeking a clinician interested in building a long-term role within our practice as community demand expands.

- AAC experience preferred but not required
- Speech and language intervention; literacy exposure possible as role expands
- Active Virginia SLP license
- Experience with school-aged populations
- Comfortable working across multiple locations
- Reliable transportation required
- Interest in neurodiversity-affirming practices
Salary : $50 - $65
