The Role:
We’re seeking a experienced and dedicated Maintenance Mechanic who brings enthusiasm, energy and mechanical expertise to the table. In this role, you will assist in repairing forklifts and preparing them for resale at the end of a customer lease. Performing routine machine maintenance tasks by using standard procedures, tools, materials, machines and equipment while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment including, but not limited to, motors, pumps, conveyors, belts, fans, air conditioners, etc.
- Examine mechanical machinery and equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot.
- Inspect defective machinery and equipment to determine wear or damage.
- Disassemble machinery and equipment and repair or replaces broken parts.
- Adjust functional parts of mechanical machinery and equipment as necessary.
- Clean and lubricate parts.
- Inspect completed repairs.
- Follow standard work to complete tasks.
What We’re Looking For:

Basic mechanical aptitude and demonstrated ability to use hand and power tools safely.

Ability to read and interpret work orders, equipment manuals, and safety documentation.

Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and following established maintenance procedures.

Willingness to learn and develop skills through on-the-job training and manufacturer-supported programs.
What Sets You Apart:
- 1 years of related mechanical or automotive experience
- A High School Diploma or GED
Where and When You’ll Work:
- This is an in-person role located at our East Syracuse, New York facility—ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.
- This role is first shift Monday through Friday, 6:00AM to 2:30PM. Some overtime required to support production demands.
What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:
Wage - $19.76 - $24.95 per hour. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
