Project Manager

Location: Rapid City, SD - 333 West Blvd 

Position Type: Full-Time, 100% in-office

As a Project Manager at Homeslice, you are the bridge between client vision and agency execution. You aren't expected to know the answer to every technical question on the spot, but you are expected to keep your cool, listen deeply, and manage relationships with grace and transparency.

Your mission is simple: keep clients feeling heard, confident, and "warm and fuzzy"—while ensuring internal teams hit their deadlines and high-level management stays informed when things drift off course.

• Serve as the primary operational point of contact for clients, leading check-ins and project updates.
• Master the art of active listening—knowing when to speak up, when to listen, and when to say "I don't have that answer right now, but I will get back to you by [time]."
• Protect and elevate the reputation of both the client’s brand and The Homeslice Group at every touchpoint.
• Build genuine rapport so clients feel supported, valued, and confident that their work is in expert hands.

• Manage project workflows across strategy, creative, digital, media, and production teams from onboarding to delivery.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, and budgets to ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain a cool, steady demeanor when projects hit unexpected roadblocks or scope changes.
• Recognize red flags early and know precisely when and how to escalate issues to senior management before they impact client satisfaction.

• Detail-Oriented & Proactive: You naturally spot timeline bottlenecks before they become fires.

• 2 years of project management, account management, or client-facing operations experience.
• Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary projects and timelines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• This is a 100% in-office position, no work-from-home or hybrid availability 

• Marketing and/or Creative Experience: Prior experience inside a marketing, advertising, or creative agency.
• Media Buying or Selling Knowledge: Familiarity with media placement, ad schedules, or campaign tracking.
• Financial Literacy / Accounting: Basic understanding of agency billing, project profitability, or client invoicing.
