Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Surgery Scheduler to join our fast-paced and dedicated team. This critical role ensures our specialized vascular and endovascular surgeries are scheduled efficiently and accurately, contributing directly to seamless patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule a high volume of complex vascular and endovascular surgical procedures in coordination with physicians, hospital facilities (primarily St. Dominic's), and patients.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients regarding their surgery details, preparation instructions, and necessary documentation.
- Maintain and update surgical calendars, ensuring accuracy and resolving scheduling conflicts promptly.
Qualifications:
- Experience in medical office administration or a healthcare setting.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience (A Plus):
- Experience in Surgical Scheduling.
- Familiarity with Insurance Prior Authorization and verification processes.
