Bike Salesperson – Harley-Davidson Dealership Position Summary
We are seeking a driven, customer-focused Bike Salesperson to represent the legendary Harley-Davidson brand. This role is responsible for delivering a premium customer experience, building lasting relationships, and achieving motorcycle sales goals through product expertise, passion for riding, and exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Sales
- Greet customers warmly and assess their riding needs, experience level, and lifestyle.
- Guide customers through motorcycle selection, features, customization options, and financing solutions.
- Conduct engaging product presentations and test ride experiences.
- Close sales professionally while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Achieve and exceed monthly motorcycle sales targets.
Product Knowledge & Brand Representation
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of current and upcoming Harley-Davidson models, parts, accessories, MotorClothes®, and customization options.
- Stay informed on promotions, financing programs, and manufacturer incentives.
- Represent the Harley-Davidson lifestyle and culture both in-store and at community events.
Lead Management & Follow-Up
- Proactively follow up on leads via phone, email, and CRM systems.
- Build long-term relationships to encourage repeat sales and referrals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Finance & Insurance (F&I), Service, and Parts departments to ensure seamless delivery.
- Participate in dealership events, rides, and promotional activities.
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience (automotive, powersports, or retail preferred).
- Passion for motorcycles; Harley-Davidson product knowledge strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work weekends and flexible hours.
- Valid motorcycle endorsement (preferred).
