Line Cooks & Waitstaff

The RailYard is currently searching for energetic and career-minded individuals seeking opportunity and growth in a quick-service kitchen completely unique for our area. Qualifications to apply:

• Preferred 2 years experience in foodservice or hospitality environment
• Familiarity with a variety of food preparation equipment (chargrill, range, flat top, stand mixer, etc.)
• Ability to take and process direction from leadership, accomplishing tasks quickly and correctly
• Ability to communicate clearly and cordially with fellow staff
• Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time, moving quickly from station to station
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be available to work weekend shifts and late nights
• Must be able to maintain proper personal hygiene

As a Line Cook, you will be expected to:

• Work with fellow staff to ensure that the quality of our food meets or exceeds guest expectation
• Work in a variety of stations in the RailYard kitchen, with a variety of radiant and open flame equipment
• Ascertain complete knowledge of all RailYard menu items and recipes
• Keep your station and line properly cleaned and stocked throughout your shift
• Communicate with all front and back of house staff members to minimize error related to product
• Strictly comply with food handling/safety standards, and possess a West Virginia Food Handlers’ Certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
