Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Hotel Night Auditor.
The required hours for this position is 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
The employee will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, completing end-of-day procedures, and providing excellent customer service to guests during overnight hours. Additional tasks include assisting with guest check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, resolving guest inquiries, and ensuring all hotel policies are enforced.
Responsibilities:
- Have a natural willingness to go the extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction
- Guest check-ins and check outs
- Balancing, reconciling guest accounts and closing the days transactions
- Complete daily financial audit reports and troubleshoot as necessary
- Prepare and distribute necessary nightly reports, with accuracy and according to hotel standards
- Have a thorough knowledge of emergency and security procedures. Will preform security walks
- Ensure detailed communication regarding activities on the overnight shift are clearly documented on shift reports
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Experience financial reporting accuracy.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts.
- Previous experience with hotel management software is preferred.
