Salon Assistant (Entry-Level – Cosmetology Graduates Welcome)
We are looking for a motivated Salon Assistant to work directly alongside an experienced hairstylist and support daily salon operations. This is a great opportunity for recent cosmetology graduates who want hands-on training and real salon experience.
You will assist with client preparation, shampooing, treatments, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace while learning advanced techniques in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead stylist with clients, treatments, and shampoo services
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon
- Support scheduling, client flow, and front desk tasks

Duties
- Assist stylists with various tasks to ensure smooth salon operations
- Greet and check-in clients, offering them refreshments
- Shampoo and condition clients' hair
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon
- Assist in inventory management and restocking of products
- Support stylists during color application and treatments
- Perform basic administrative duties such as answering phones and scheduling appointments
Requirements
- Knowledge of cosmetology practices and terminology
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with clients in a friendly manner
- Familiarity with retail math for product sales
- Understanding of color theory for hair treatments
- Ability to sanitize tools and work areas according to salon standards
- Experience or willingness to learn about eyelash extensions, nail care, and front desk duties
- Prior experience in store management is a plus
