Position Overview
We are seeking a board‑certified or board‑eligible Urologist to join an established, outpatient‑focused urology practice in Shelton, CT. The position offers a direct‑hire, long‑term opportunity with a strong emphasis on outpatient care, including robotic‑assisted surgery, with access to advanced robotic platforms at a nearby hospital partner. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing a full spectrum of general urologic conditions and building a multi‑year practice in a growing community.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with general urologic conditions, including benign and malignant prostate disease, urolithiasis, voiding dysfunction, male infertility, and adrenal/renal pathology.
- Provide outpatient consultations, diagnostic work‑ups, and non‑surgical management in a clinic‑based setting.
- Perform and participate in robotic‑assisted urologic procedures (e.g., robotic prostatectomy, partial nephrectomy) in collaboration with the hospital partner.
- Coordinate care with referring primary care providers, nephrology, oncology, and other specialists as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records, adhere to coding and documentation standards, and support quality and safety initiatives.
- Participate in call coverage as defined by the practice and hospital structure (typically light or shared call model).
Practice Environment
- Outpatient‑based practice with hospital and OR privileges at a nearby community hospital equipped with robotic technology.

Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an ACGME‑accredited urology residency.
