Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner Opportunity - Bronx, New York
Location: Bronx, New York 10459
Position: Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care (1 opening)
Deliver fast-paced urgent care in the Bronx, treating acute illnesses, injuries, and walk-ins in a community hub.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess/treat colds, lacerations, sprains, infections, and minor procedures
- Order labs, X-rays, splinting, and prescribe medications/OTC guidance
- Manage high-volume walk-ins, triage, and discharge planning
- Coordinate referrals and follow-ups with primary care
Qualifications:
- Family or Adult NP certification with active NY license
- Urgent care/ER experience preferred; DOT certification a plus
- BLS/ACLS; suturing, abscess drainage skills ideal
