Position Summary
The facility is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Primary Care Physician to join its growing team in Athens, GA.
This full-time position offers a balanced schedule, with approximately 2.5 days per week in Athens and 2 days per week in Royston, providing outpatient care only. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based care in a supportive and team-oriented environment.

Essential Position Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive outpatient care to patients across all age groups.

Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.

Conduct annual wellness visits, preventive screenings, and health maintenance exams.

Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate with other healthcare professionals as needed.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR).

Participate in quality improvement and patient engagement initiatives.

Promote a culture of safety, respect, and excellence in clinical care.
Qualifications

Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.

Licensure & Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; eligible for Georgia medical licensure.

Experience: Previous outpatient experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
