The facility is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to join its growing primary care team in Bronx, New York. This is a full-time opportunity.The role is primarily outpatient, offering a consistent schedule designed to promote efficiency and work-life balance.

Essential Position Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive outpatient internal medicine services to adult and geriatric patients.

Conduct thorough physical examinations and annual wellness visits.

Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, COPD, heart disease, hyperlipidemia, and other complex medical issues.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests, laboratory studies, and imaging.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based guidelines.

Coordinate care with specialists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.

Provide patient education on disease prevention, medication management, and lifestyle modifications.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings.
Qualifications
Education:
-
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Certification:
-
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
Licensure:
-
Active or eligible medical license in New York.

DEA registration (or eligibility).
Experience:
-
Prior outpatient internal medicine experience preferred.

Residents completing training are encouraged to apply.
