Position Summary
The practice is seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician to join its established concierge medical practice in Washington, DC.
This full-time, permanent opportunity offers physicians the ability to practice highly personalized, patient-centered medicine within a collaborative concierge care environment. Physicians benefit from reduced administrative burdens, smaller patient panels, and extended appointment times, allowing for deeper patient engagement and a greater focus on preventive and wellness-oriented care.
The incoming physician will have significant clinical autonomy while benefiting from comprehensive operational, administrative, marketing, and technology support designed to help providers build and maintain a thriving concierge practice.
Essential Position Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive primary care and preventive healthcare services within a concierge medicine model.
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with a limited panel of patients.
Deliver personalized, evidence-based care focused on prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management.
Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and ancillary healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Provide proactive patient communication and accessibility consistent with concierge medicine standards.
Participate in community outreach, networking, and practice growth initiatives as desired.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).
Qualifications
Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.
Licensure & Certification: Board Certified in Internal Medicine; active or eligible District of Columbia medical license and DEA registration.
Residency: Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency program preferred.
Experience: Experience practicing within the U.S. healthcare system preferred. Prior concierge medicine, direct primary care, private practice, or outpatient experience is beneficial but not required.
Skills: Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, commitment to preventive medicine, strong clinical judgment, and passion for delivering highly personalized patient care.
